  • Youth Jobs Grant

    The Youth Jobs Grant is part of the Youth Guarantee and provides financial support to employers to encourage the recruitment of young people who may otherwise find it difficult to enter the labour market. It is intended to complement, not replace, existing recruitment activity. Eligible employers may receive up to £3,000 per job outcome, paid in stages and subject to meeting all scheme conditions.

  • Community Legacy Fund

    The National Highways Community Legacy Fund is open to all non-profit groups or organisations who are geographically close to motorways and major roads (that are maintained by National Highways) and are currently impacted by our roadworks or diversion routes. The Fund welcomes a wide range of proposals, offering grants between £500 and £10,000. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that their project or initiative is located close to a National Highways road, is currently impacted by our roadworks and meets at least one of the following criteria; Economic prosperity, Improving the environment, Community Wellbeing, Equality, diversity, and inclusion. The aim of the Fund is to leave a positive legacy to the communities impacted by our work.

  • Magnet Hub Grant Scheme

  • National River Walks

    Defra is looking to award grants via the National River Walks Programme to address the Environmental Improvement Plan 2025 commitment to deliver 9 new national river walks, one in each region of England. One river walk has already been delivered in the North West region. We now welcome applications from the remaining 8 regions of England to deliver the next river walks. We are not looking for further applications from the North West. We aim to select 4 river walks to be delivered by 31st March 2028. A further competition to fund the remaining 4 walks will be arranged in the future.
